History of the Texas Township Website
About seven years ago, (on Jan.
21, 2008) residents requested that Texas Township Supervisors set up a website with information regarding the township Agenda,
Minutes and Ordinances (laws). 396 residents (99% of those asked) signed a petition in support. Texas Township's Planning
Board recommended moving forward with a website also. Yet at the December 7, 2009 township meeting, Supervisors McDonald,
Doney and Wickle voted no without a reason. Township residents feel so strongly about a need for open, transparent government
and a citizens' right to know, that they have committed time and money to provide this information 24/7 as a public service.
(Refer to the "MINUTES" page for issues that citizens would like addressed).
